Rockwell Discloses Plans for Europe: The El Segundo-based company plans a major expansion of its European automotive components and systems business, which will include at least four new plants, the company’s Light Vehicles Components Businesses unit said. The unit, based in Troy, Mich., operates plants in eight European countries with 5,500 employees. The new facilities include an assembly plant for sunroof systems to be built at Gifhorn, West Germany, and an assembly plant for an advanced door system module in Cassino, Italy.
