David Swinson, former concert coordinator for Bogart’s, has moved into the rock video business as a producer based at AWGO Inc., a Los Angeles video production company. Swinson said he will be in charge of making videos for independent and alternative rock acts who don’t command the massive budgets now typical in the pop music industry. Swinson, who has a film degree from Cal State Long Beach, has collaborated with his partner, director Billy Henderson, on past videos by Peter Case, the Fuzztones, Mojo Nixon and Skid Roper and TSOL. Swinson also said he is continuing his efforts to launch his own independent record label, Pro-Deuce.
