Who are we kidding? If intelligent beings somewhere out in space should happen to find our wandering Voyager craft, the message aboard should be:
Please help us. We the people of Earth, have not learned much since the beginning of our existence on this planet.
We have killed millions of our own people. We have not learned to solve our disputes. We need help.
Our present environment is full of pollutants that are rapidly destroying our natural resources. Our forests, lakes and oceans are decaying and several of our animal species are on the brink of extinction.
We need help.
If this message is found by intelligent beings, please send help immediately.
