Plan Would OK Horses on 5 Northridge Acres

Five acres in Northridge would be set aside as a horse-keeping zone under a proposal Wednesday by Councilman Hal Bernson.
The land--bordered by White Oak and Texhoma avenues and Saticoy and Stagg streets--already has some animals on it. Bernson said several new developments planned for the area may seek to include horse-keeping areas.
The City Council sent Bernson’s proposal to the Planning Department for review.
