ABC News’ “PrimeTime Live,” booed by critics and third in the Nielsens in its much-ballyhooed Aug. 3 debut, had smaller ratings--due to less viewing overall in summer--but came in second on Thursday. It had a 9.5 rating, compared to a 10 for its opener. Last Thursday’s winning show was NBC’s repeat of an “L.A. Law” episode, which had a 12.9. CBS’ repeat of “Knotts Landing” yielded only a 7.5. Each ratings point represents 904,000 households.
