CBS anchorman Dan Rather and his son will be on opposite sides of the courthouse this week in lower Manhattan, where son Danjack is an assistant district attorney for New York State. But Rather, who starts jury duty today, won’t get to see his son in action. The son prosecutes criminal cases, while his father’s jury duty will involve civil cases. Rather’s one-week tour as a juror isn’t expected to interfere with his anchor work on the “CBS Evening News.”
