“West 57th” correspondent John Ferrugia is leaving New York to become co-anchor on Denver’s KCNC Channel 4 “Colorado Evening News” beginning Sept. 11. Ferrugia, 38, signed a multiyear contract with KCNC, reportedly worth about $200,000 a year. Ferrugia told the Denver Post that he was making the move in order to spend more time with his family. He said he was on the road 21 days in January and 19 days in February and was working a 70-hour week.
