Helionetics Inc., an Irvine defense contractor, has acquired privately held XCell Circuit Technology Inc. of Anaheim for an undisclosed price.
XCell is a manufacturer of printed wiring boards used in aerospace and missile programs. The Anaheim firm also has various research and development projects under way.
Helionetics, which emerged from a bankruptcy reorganization earlier this year, manufactures electronic power conversion systems, primarily for military use.
