Investor Raises Share in HCC Industries to 12%

Investor Walter Neubauer announced that he has increased his stake in HCC Industries and may seek control of the company or propose a merger.
In a filing with the federal Securities and Exchange Commission, Neubauer said he had increasing his holdings in the Encino-based company to 205,100 shares, or 12.29% of HCC.
Neubauer said he is “pursuing discussions with a financial institution” about the possibility of a merger proposal or tender offer, and had also discussed the issues with some stockholders.
HCC makes electronic connection devices for the aerospace industry.
