3-D Systems said it lost $1.78 million in the first quarter ended March 31, compared to a loss of $818,657 a year earlier--even though revenue more than tripled to $1.6 million.
The company said its results were affected by a move of company headquarters to Valencia, which delayed shipment of products. In addition, the company cited personnel and research and development expenses.
3-D Systems uses lasers, chemicals and computers to produce plastic-like models of parts and other products.
