Merger Deal Falls Through: El Monte-based Birtcher Corp. and Concept Inc. have terminated discussions on Birtcher’s proposed acquisition of Concept’s Electrosurgery and Medical Office Product businesses. The two companies had signed a letter of intent May 10. A Birtcher spokesman declined to comment on the termination of discussions.
