A longtime instructor at a special-education school in Mission Beach was arrested Wednesday and booked on suspicion of raping one of the facility’s developmentally disabled female students.
Police said Christian Tuffli, 55, a teacher at the Mission Beach School, is being held in a sexual attack of an 18-year-old student. He has been employed by the school for 19 years, police said.
