St. Bernard Names Head Football Coach

Jerry Campbell, defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator at Cal State Northridge for the past three years, has been named head football coach at St. Bernard High.

Campbell succeeds Duke Dulgarian, who resigned at the end of last season and plans to go into business.

Campbell has coached at Butte Community College in Chico, Western Colorado State and Chico State. He also has coached high school football at schools in Northern California and Colorado.

He was an all-conference defensive lineman at Chico State.
