“Project Quiche: They Tap Gourmet Sources in Collecting Food for Poor” (Metro, May 13) was a joy and an inspiration. While reading about Patty Myers and Sunny Angen I realized that I had harbored a most unkind and unwarranted impression of Beverly Hills women. I assumed they were all rather pampered and self-centered. How wrong I was!
These women present a real challenge to us all--to give of whatever our own abundance is in order to lessen the suffering of our fellow human beings.
Thank you for a needed lesson.
