ENTERTAINMENT : TV’s Jessica Story Most Watched

ABC’s docudrama re-creating the rescue of Jessica McClure from an abandoned well in Texas was the most-watched program last week but NBC pushed its ratings victory streak to 48 straight weeks, according to Nielsen ratings released today.
“Everybody’s Baby: The Rescue of Jessica McClure” was first in the Nielsens for the week ended May 21. The ABC Sunday night movie knocked the two-hour wrap-up of NBC’s “Miami Vice” to 21st place. The CBS movie “Mike Hammer: Murder Takes All,” competing in the same time slot, was in 27th place.
