About your April 30 articles on “The Phantom of the Opera” coming to Los Angeles:
Instead of squandering millions for decorations to make the Ahmanson look like the Paris Opera, “Phantom” producers should simply have walked a few blocks south and rented the stately Los Angeles Theater, which not only looks like the Paris Opera but feels like it as well.
