IN BRIEF : Andersen on Disabled List

HOUSTON — Houston reliever Larry Andersen was placed on the 15-day disabled list Monday night with a knee injury. Andersen suffered the injury while sliding in Sunday’s game with Cincinnati. He has one save and a 0.00 ERA in 15 1/3 innings this season. He will be replaced on the Houston roster by left-hander Dan Schatzeder, whose contract was purchased from Houston’s Class AAA team in Tucson.
