Dance goes exotic Thursday when the the Dancers and Musicians of Bali arrive at Mandeville Auditorium for a one-night stand. The 8 p.m. performance will feature a cast of 45, including a full gamelan orchestra interpreting ancient communal rituals and dramatic dances from the island of Bali. Hindu-Javanese influences are part of the obscure cultural mix that constitutes Balinese dance, and this touring troupe is the only group dispensing the genuine article.
