Blow-Up (Channel 13 Monday at noon): A key film of the ‘60s, set in swinging London, and dealing with a fashion photographer forced to examine his frivolous life when he becomes aware of a murder; since it’s an Antonioni film it is, on another level, a parable of illusion and reality. With David Hemmings, Vanessa Redgrave. (2:00)
The Best Years of Our Lives (Channel 11 Tuesday at 2 a.m.): William Wyler’s ever-stirring saga of several servicemen returning from World War II. Fredric March stars. (3:00)
Olympia (USA Thursday at 3:30 a.m., completed Friday at 3:30 a.m.): Leni Riefenstahl’s poetic and monumental two-part documentary on the 1936 Berlin Olympics. (2:00)
Burn! (A&E; Saturday at 1 a.m.): Gillo Pontecorvo’s remarkable 1969 epic-scale depiction of a black rebellion on a fictional sugar-planting island in the 19th Century; Marlon Brando plays a cynical, aristocratic British official who fails to see the importance of commitment before it’s too late. Note: sometimes hard to follow because of awkward cuts. (2:30)
