Bush Selects U.S. Attorney

WASHINGTON — President Bush intends to nominate Wayne Budd to be U.S. attorney in Massachusetts, the White House announced Wednesday. Budd, 47, a former president of the Massachusetts Bar Assn., would succeed Frank McNamara and would be the first black to hold the post.
