Transamerica Insurance Group in Woodland Hills named James H. Uyeda as senior vice president in charge of internal audit, which involves the review of the company’s internal controls.
Uyeda, 47, formerly was vice president of that department. He joined Transamerica in 1964, and has also held the post of controller. Transamerica Insurance is a unit of Transamerica Corp., a San Francisco-based insurance and financial services concern.
