Davidson to Take Over as Chapman Soccer Coach

Brian Davidson says he has accepted an offer to become the Chapman College men’s soccer coach.
Davidson, who coached the Orange Football Club, said that Athletic Director Walt Bowman offered him the part-time postion. Attempts to reach Bowman for comment were unsuccessful.
Davidson graduated from Houston College in New York, where he played goalie. He was a National Assn. of Intercollegiate Athletics honorable-mention All-American as a senior.
He guided the Orange Football Club, a semipro team, to a 15-5-2 record last season.
Davidson replaces Eunice Bobert, who resigned last month for personal reasons.
Chapman does not offer scholarships in men’s soccer.
