LONDON — British figure skating star Joanne Conway withdrew today from next week’s World Championships in Paris because of a leg injury. The 17-year-old, a four-time national champion, only resumed training at the end of last week after three weeks off the ice. She will be replaced by 18-year-old Louisa Danskin on the British team. Conway tore a calf muscle in training and her leg has failed to respond to treatment.
