Prostitutes and Judge’s Judgment
I am writing in reference to your article (Feb. 9) about the Santa Ana judge who let numerous suspected hookers go free of any charge whatsoever because they could find no proof they “had done anything wrong.” I am outraged at the lack of authority and good judgment used by Superior Court Judge William F. McDonald.
Hollywood has come to be known as the prostitution capital of Los Angeles. It seems as though Santa Ana is heading to become such a place in Orange County. Orange County does not want L.A.’s traffic or its prostitution problem. I feel that every effort possible should be made to curtail the first signs of a second “Hollywood Boulevard.”
