Santa Monica : Alcohol Recovery Home

The Clare Foundation, an alcoholism recovery program, plans to build a 20-bed rehabilitation home on 9th Street for adult low-income alcoholics.
The home will be located next to two other buildings that Clare is renovating to provide another 20 beds for recovering alcoholics.
Clare is raising $1 million for the project. The Ahmanson Foundation this week made a $25,000 grant to the building fund.
Last year, Clare opened a 20-bed facility for recovering teen-age alcoholics.
