Soviets Win 2nd Gold in Biathlon

FEISTRITZ, Austria — The Soviet Union won the second gold medal at the World Biathlon Championships, taking the women’s 15-kilometer today in 1 hour, 5 minutes, 38.8 seconds.
Earlier, the Soviet Union won the gold medal in the 20-kilometer team event in 59:36.9, beating West Germany by 7.3 seconds.
