CSUN to Play Host to Key CCAA Game

The way Cal State Northridge basketball players tell it, they have been dealt but one loss--not eight--this season.

An 86-59 loss at Bakersfield on Jan. 19 was CSUN’s most lopsided this season, a point not overlooked by the Matadors.
“We’ve been waiting for this game,” Matsubara said.
More than revenge will be on the line at 7:30 tonight in the CSUN gym.
Northridge (13-8) and Bakersfield (15-6) are 4-4 in California Collegiate Athletic Assn. play and are tied with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for third place. Four teams qualify for the CCAA postseason tournament.
Northridge probably will be without the services of center Todd Bowser (hip injury).
