Philadelphia Place, a 100-acre shopping center planned for the California Commerce Center in Ontario, will be developed by the Lusk Co., master developer of the 1,855-acre commerce center.
The development, featuring large discount stores, is expected to cost more than $120 million, according to a spokeswoman for the commerce center.
“It (Philadelphia Place) will . . . attract the ‘power’ retailers who need very large space for buildings and parking,” according to David W. Ariss, managing director of the California Commerce Center. Coldwell Banker’s City of Industry office is leasing agent for the shopping center.
