Moorpark Reinstates Women’s Top Scorer

Kerrie Marshall, the leading scorer and rebounder on the Moorpark College women’s basketball team, has been reinstated.
Marshall, who is averaging 18 points and 8 rebounds a game, missed 2 games after a dispute with Coach Gary Abraham. Marshall rejoined the team last week and will play in Moorpark’s Western State Conference game tonight at Bakersfield College.
“We have discussed what happened and everything has been worked out,” Abraham said. “It was a misunderstanding on both of our parts and we just want to put it behind us.”
