National Semiconductor, Santa Clara, has promoted William T. Kahl Jr., 50, to vice president and managing director-Asia marketing. He replaces Donald P. Beadle, who had been serving as acting vice president-Asia marketing in addition to his role as vice president-worldwide sales and international marketing. Kahl previously was director of international marketing. He will relocate to Hong Kong.
