Brea Mall, the county’s second largest mall in terms of sales, is undergoing an $80-million renovation that includes remodeling the interior food court and adding about 60 specialty stores. New carpeting, marble floors, fountains and landscaping have given the existing mall area an updated look. Nordstrom, one of the anchors, is scheduled to open its new 180,000-square-foot store next month. Mall renovation is expected to be completed in 1991.
