The architectural firm of Johannes Van Tilburg & Partners has been honored with the AIDS Hospice Foundation’s Heart of Gold Award for design services for a new hospice opened in December at 2000 Stadium Way.
Named for AIDS activist Chris Brownlie, a member of the foundation’s board of directors, the new facility is the largest of its kind in the country and offers the most comprehensive care and services.
In addition to contributing the design, the architectural firm coordinated the work of consultants, including interior designer Millicent Grappell, Jitu Mehta & Associates Structural Engineers, Dalan Engineering Electrical Engineers, and Sanjar & Associates Mechanical Engineers, who also donated their services.
