Rich Prospero was named interim coach of the Chapman College men’s basketball team by Athletic Director Walt Bowman.
Prospero, a Chapman graduate who has been an assistant coach, scout and recruiter at the college for 3 years, replaces Lindsay Strothers, who had been named interim coach Wednesday when Kevin Wilson was fired.
Strothers, a former women’s assistant coach whose appointment as men’s coach was protested by players, will stay on as Prospero’s assistant.
