Local News in Brief : Woman Shot During Robbery in Garage

A Glendale woman was in stable condition Friday after she was shot in the parking garage of her apartment complex while being robbed of her purse, police said.
The 23-year-old woman, whose name was not released, was shot in the hip after returning home this morning to her apartment in the 1100 block of Winchester Street, Sgt. Rick Jauregui said.
She was taken to Glendale Adventist Medical Center and was in stable condition after the 12:05 a.m. incident, Jauregui said. The woman was getting out of her car when she was approached by two men who robbed her of her purse, he said.
