Daily direct flights from Los Angeles to Cancun in the Yucatan will be resumed today by Mexicana Airlines. Departures will be 9 a.m., arriving in Cancun at 4:35 p.m. Flights return from Cancun at 5:05 p.m. and arrive in Los Angeles at 9:25 p.m. Also, Mexicana will start Saturday flights between Los Angeles and Huatulco, a new coastal resort south of Oaxaca, on Saturday.
