The scurrilous presidential campaign of Bush to win at any cost leaves him with many weighty moral obligations.
First of all he owes his most abject and humble apologies to Dukakis and the American people for all the falsehoods, hyperbole, insinuations and aspersions of disloyalty to our flag that he used to win the election.
His apologies would give a better insight into the man’s character and would help unify the nation.
