Student Beepers Banned

NEW YORK — Student drug dealers in the city’s schools will no longer be able to receive messages on their beepers. Schools Chancellor Richard R. Green said Wednesday that all beepers would be confiscated from students beginning this week, but that no other penalty would be imposed.
