Eastman Kodak’s third-quarter profit advanced 10% from last year to $435 million. Sales totaled $5 billion, up 29%. The Rochester, N.Y., photo and health-care company credited the record results to substantial sales increases of Kodacolor films, copy products, clinical products and health sciences products, the latter because of the inclusion of sales of Sterling Drug Inc., acquired in February. However, the quarterly figures were below Wall Street forecasts.
