Host Noah Adams is bidding adieu to his American Public Radio show “Good Evening”--the replacement for Garrison Keillor’s famous “Prairie Home Companion” show. Adams confirmed Tuesday he’ll be gone by the end of this year, leaving “Good Evening” to continue on using a series of guest hosts, eventually settling on a permanent one sometime in 1989. APR officials say the show will increase its humor quotient, without sacrificing the commitment to storytelling that Adams brought to the show. One of those guest hosts might just be Keillor himself, who is producing several special editions of “Prairie Home Companion”-style shows for the radio network.
