Wi Leads by 4 Shots in State Junior Golf

Charlie Wi of Thousand Oaks shot 71 in the second round to take a four-stroke lead in the California Junior State Championships at Poppy Hills Country Club in Pebble Beach on Tuesday.
Wi, who attends Westlake High, has a two-day total of 141. Eric Schroeder of Alameda is second at 145 and Fullerton’s Joon Lee is third at 149.
Thousand Oaks’ Mike Donnelly had a two-day total of 177 and failed to make the cut.
