YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Unexpected heavy rain forced the postponement Thursday of the Junior Olympic Super Series tournament game between the Hart Colt team and host Youngstown.
The game is scheduled to resume today with Hart trailing, 2-0, after 1 1/2 innings. Hart also is to play Suffolk County, N. Y., today.
Hart pitcher Robbie Davis surrendered two hits and hit two batters as Youngstown scored two runs in the top of the first inning.
Davis will continue pitching today, Hart Coach Regis Malone said. If Hart wins, Anthony Chessani will pitch the second game. If Hart loses, Andrew Lorraine will pitch against Suffolk County.
