Westchester : Drill Team Invited to Tokyo

Westchester High School’s Small Military Competition Drill Team has been invited to compete in the Miss Drill Team International Championship in Tokyo next month, according to Supervisor Kenneth Hahn.

The drill team has won the Miss Drill Team U.S.A. title, as well as championships sponsored by the Los Angeles Unified School District, the United Spirit Assn. and Six Flags Magic Mountain.

The team needs to raise $10,000 for the air fare to Tokyo. For more information, call 974-1021.
