Regarding your “not quite the same” Quibble in Outtakes (May 15), it is too bad that the Walt Disney company can’t get stars of the caliber of Gloria Swanson and Humphrey Bogart to put their hand and foot prints in the forecourt of their reproduction of the Chinese Theater.
However, if Disney has chosen not to reproduce the tatty little red signs that whine the name of the current owner and has ignored the plastic-fronted atrocity that sits next door to the once-noble Grauman’s Chinese, it’s “not quite the same,” all right. It’s better.
