Controversy Over Meese
Is a lousy memory a prerequisite for holding a White House position? First Ronald Reagan couldn’t remember a thing about diverting funds to the Contras. Then Vice President George Bush was unable to recall what his real role was in the Iran-Contra scandal. Now Meese has no recollection about bribery, illegal lobbying, and who knows what else. Give me a break!
I just wish I could forget that these guys were ever in office.
