Rep. Jones, 75, Decides Not to Seek Another Term

JACKSON, Tenn. — Rep. Ed Jones (D-Tenn.), 75, said Wednesday he has decided not to seek reelection after 19 years in Congress. Jones is the third-ranking member of the House Committee on Agriculture and chairman of its subcommittee on conservation, credit and rural development. He is also the third-ranking member of the Committee on House Administration.
