STATUS SEEKERS

Being a member of the Hispanic community, I found Danny Villanueva’s comments in “L.A. Status Too,” by Jeannine Stein, very arrogant and distasteful. A purported leader in our less affluent (than he) community, he openly shows little wisdom in his selection of words, life style, friends. Who cares about his four golf-club memberships next to his four homes and his eight Arabian horses, all of which, he boasts, are never put to good use? I am glad, though, that his quotes are published; I was starting to trust his leadership abilities.
