Camera Platforms to Buy Gear From Rental Firm

Camera Platforms International, a Valencia company that rents camera cars to film makers, said it agreed to buy 12 cars and equipment from Jack Lietzke Studio Rentals for $290,000 plus 15,000 shares of Camera Platforms stock.
Camera Platforms, headed by film director Hal Needham, also announced that Walter Wood, its president and a director, has resigned. Needham, who is chairman and chief executive, will assume Wood’s duties.
