The National Hockey League suspended New York Islanders defenseman Steve Konroyd for four games and Pittsburgh Penguins forward Randy Cunneyworth for three games for a stick-swinging incident Jan. 12. In a separate matter, Cunneyworth was given a five-game suspension as the result of a major penalty for high-sticking against Boston Dec. 29.
