Construction has begun on Sangnok Villa, a $3.9-million, 60-unit housing development for the elderly.
The project, at 732 Bonnie Brae St., will be a four-story, L-shaped complex offering 60 one-bedroom units at subsidized low- to moderate-income rates ranging from $274 to $360 a month.
The development is a joint venture of the Korean-American Christian Evergreen Assn. and the Retirement Housing Foundation, original sponsor of the Angeles Plaza project.
