Japanese Prime Minister Noboru Takeshita and Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, in their second day of talks in Toronto, agreed that debt repayment problems suffered by developing countries will top the agenda at the seven-nation economic summit scheduled for Toronto in June, officials said. Mulroney also pressed Takeshita to work toward removal of an 8% tariff on Canadian lumber, and Takeshita said it will be considered, Japanese and Canadian officials added. Takeshita leaves today for a stopover in San Francisco en route to Hawaii before flying to Japan on Wednesday.
